You've served us well here. :-( It is kinda neat. How do/did you use it? portalfs seems to have around a 10th of the LoC than MSDosFS and the changes made to make MSDosFS MPSAFE are documented on the above page: is it just that portalfs is too obscure to have a maintainer? Thanks to all for the work on MPSAFE-ty ;-)
