just got kde2 installed on one of my colleagues computer, and we aren't getting icons for, like, the start menu and whatnot. Install from /usr/ports/x11/kde2 went smoothly, so a dependency that isn't there, maybe? In a 'script' of the startx process, I'm seeing a few of: kdecore (KIconLoader): ERROR: Error: standard icon themes: "locolor" and "hicolor" not found! Which tends to indicate where the problem lies, I would think ... ? I did a pkg_delete of all the old kde stuff, old qt stuff, upgraded XFree86 to 4.0.1_3 (or _4) ... Marc G.
