Nick,

I don't think that it's possible to do so, as this is probably more like
a multifunction device with a 4 port USB hub, where one of the ports
internally is connected to the USB Ethernet device.

In fact, that TI USB hub is the same part embedded in my Microsoft
USB keyboard, which has two USB device ports, the keyboard, and an
HID device.  Seems like it's a popular part.
