With the problems I've had with the cons25 console driver, I decided to give pcvt another shot. I've come across a few things(which I may have mentioned before) that don't look quite right. 1- What is supposed to be bold turns out blue.(bad mappings?) 2- The output on the screen at boot is white on a red background(not a problem, just looks weird) 3- When using IRC, the screen "shakes" when a a new line of text goes through. It quite literally gives me a headache. (An incentive to stay off of IRC? :) ) 4- The cursor seems to be lagged behind my typing. 5- When using the up arrow key in tcsh to recall commands, it doesn't clear the current line, so things get jumbled up. If it helps any, here's what dmesg says about vt0 on bootup: ---- Probing for devices on the ISA bus: vt0 at 0x60-0x6f irq 1 on motherboard vt0: cl-gd5428, 80/132 col, color, 12 scr, mf2-kbd, [R3.20-b24] ---- Are these known problems being dealt with, or am I doing things wrong?
