Yup, "Ethernet WAN" is rather a contradiction in terms...my brain is
probably having a glitch after the y2k...

The scenario is that the ethernet port will be connected to a DSL modem
and routing between the LAN and WAN (in this case, the DSL modem on the
ethernet port) will be setup.

Just out of curiousity, what router are you running? the dual-LAN model?
