Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-chat@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I know we were all waiting with bated breath to see what would happen when w2k hit the shelves, so i'd like to ask if anyone has heard any reactions? I recently read on article on 32bitsonline.com (the site that reviewed 3.4 recently) implying that w2k was microsoft's Last Hurrah. I've heard it's pretty darn good. Dramatically improved stability, with a simpler interface, yet more security options. So, what have you sysadmins out there heard? I know we are all biased toward Unix, but is w2k possibly a contender? I know the whole NT-vs-Unix debate has become quite hackneyed, but w2k is a new player in a sense. -=> jm <=- ------------------------------------------------------- The opinions expressed in this message are the opinions of the mail program only, and not of the writer, his employer, or freebsd-uk.eu.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-chat" in the body of the message
