I'm not sure of the 'how' of it, but this happened to me as well. The thing I did is get a copy of the configuration disk (which runs under DOS) and set the parameters of the card to: Twisted Pair (or whatever) Port 0x300 IRQ 5 Address $D80000 (disclaimer: this is from memory) I can send you a copy of such a disk if you need one. I assume it will work with your clone, but that may not be true... -Archie
