I have a page with various answers to this basic question polled over time from the various lists. The URL is: http://keystone.westminster.edu/~fullermd/bsdvlin.htm Perhaps a small blurb under the What is FreeBSD question concerning differences, with a link to the above page? Or perhaps even a seperate FAQ. I make no guaruntees about the accuracy of the information posted on this page; I just picked the answers that were more discussions of the difference, rather that 'we're better because they suck' and related flames.
