is there an elegant solution to this problem titan# cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@192.168.1.200:/PubWare checkout python/PubWare.py cvs server: failed to create lock directory for `/PubWare/python' (/PubWare/python/#cvs.lock): Permission denied cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/PubWare/python' cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up i did some googling and it turns ou the problem is in the cvsroot anonymous doesn't have access, chmoding everything stikes me as a bit problematic.
