You need to add a line like this:

load -t userconfig_script /boot/kernel.conf

to your /boot/boot.conf file.  Put all your configuration commands
in /boot/kernel.conf.  The kernel.conf file will be read at each
boot and you won't have to keep reentering the info over and over.
