The following reply was made to PR ports/104769; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Mikhail Teterin <mi+mx@aldan.algebra.com> To: bug-followup@freebsd.org, ohartman@zedat.fu-berlin.de Cc: Subject: Re: ports/104769: tcllib-1.7_1 won't build anymore in FreeBSD 6.2-BETA2/AMD64 Date: Fri, 27 Oct 2006 14:40:20 -0400 The pop3 times out trying to connect to a port, where nothing is listening (deliberately). It expects to get a prompt "Connection refused" message, but times out isntead -- likely, because your kernel drops such connections attempts instead of NACK-ing them. Why the math-test is failing is a mistery -- "expr" appears to return an empty string instead of a number. Can you try running the test manually, perhaps? Thanks! -mi
