Date: Tue, 28 Nov 2000 20:18:36 -0800 X-Mailer: KMail [version 1.1.94] Content-Type: text/plain MIME-Version: 1.0 Message-Id: <00112820183600.00462@bsd.we.mediaone.net> Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I'm wondering if anyone has the frequency settings for a Compaq MV500=20 monitor. The documentation says it can do 75hz at 800x600 and 60hz at=20 1024x768 at 16bpp. In case you don't know the frequency settngs, would y= ou=20 know settings for 800x600 at 75hz with an ATI Rage LT Pro chip? I think I read once in the Complete FreeBSD book how to do the calculatio= ns=20 for the modelines and stuff, but I can't seem to find my book. :( Maybe = I=20 can dind that information online somewhere? Usually, when I setup X all I do is plug in the numbers given in the moni= tor=20 manual and hope that XF86Setup does everything correctly, but the manual = to=20 this monitor sucks! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Joey To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
