I have just upgraded to CURRENT on my machine, and the sound modules are
now connected to the build. They are built and installed in
/boot/kernel/ and I am loading them via /boot/loader.conf.

/boot/loader.conf
------------------
ng_ubt_load=3D"YES"
sound_load=3D"YES"
snd_via8233_load=3D"YES"
radeon_load=3D"YES"
loader_color=3D"YES"
boot_verbose=3D"YES"
