I tested several firmware versions, and rejected them for instability. This was noted to my DPT technical/OEM contact. The version I use currently, is 7LR. I tried later versions but they did very ugly things to my RAID-5 arrays. Not the symptoms you describe, but just as ugly. The firmware versions I use are always available from my ftp server. Maybe I should include the firmware with the driver release. That is difficult to do as it is a copyrighted material, NOT under Berkeley license. I am open to suggenstions. The thing that is pretty clear here, is that we need a way to make a ``FreeBSD-Certified'' firmware revision known and available. Let me inquire as to what can be done beyond what we are already doing.
