Can you explain what purpose and benefit this brings over "svn log" and
viewing the first revision of the port? Especially with easy "svn cp"
repocopies now, the original port revision is easily found.

I'm sure many original submitters would be thrilled to not have their
contact information in a port they have not maintained in years.
