The system will begin to probe for devices then hang/lockup after probing for pnp devices. You should just remove the 64 meg chip(bottum of latop, under small cover) then you can use the PAO boot floppy, which will allows you to use a PCMIA ethernet card(as long as it't supported), then once you have the system up and running you need to add options "MAXMEM=(130496) to the PAO kernel config file, recompile, reinstall the other 64 megs of ram and everything should work.
