How well does FreeBSD upgrade from other versions? And how much time would it take to download, or do you make a patch for versions? Thanks a lot... -- Time to download depends on how fast your link is. Mine is pathetic, I usually start it late one night and it's done the next morning! I've upgraded a couple of times, 2.1.6 to 2.1.7, fairly hassle free as long as you follow the directions. Doug White's got a pretty good set of instructions that I use, I'll send them to you. New versions are usually a complete replacement unless its just a bug fix. (as far as i know anyway). Hope this helps Andrew Perry andrew@shoal.net.au _____ /\ _ `\ \ \ \L\ \___ __ __ __ __ \ \ ,__/ __`\/\ \/\ \ /'_ `\ /'__`\ \ \ \/\ \L\ \ \ \_\ \/\ \L\ \/\ __/ \ \_\ \____/\ \____/\ \____ \ \____\ \/_/\/___/ \/___/ \/___L\ \/____/ /\____/ \_/__/ http://pouge.base.org/ pouge@unicomp.net
