This turns out to be worse than I initially thought.  I created a .NET Core
project on a Linux machine and attempted to open it using MonoDevelop on
FreeBSD.  Unfortunately, I get the same error.  So it appears that, at pres=
ent,
MonoDevelop is completely unusable.
