I finally got around to actually using freebsd on my workstation and i have ran xf86config and when i run startx from the command line it goes into x-windows..with no problems. I want to use KDE as my window manager (unless someone tells me GNOME or something else is better to use). Anyway so i ran /stand/sysinstall and installed KDE. Now how do I invoke it as my default window manager? I am sure their is some literature in the Handbook about this and i know there is info all over the web about it. I just wanted to email you guys to see what you are using or doing. The list always seems to respond with a short cut or two for FreeBSD. Regards, G.
