Hi Darren

Thanks so much for the help.

The following i put in file called etc-supfile in the dir:
/usr/share/example/cvsup/

*default host=cvsup10.FreeBSD.org
*default base=/home/dmp/cvs
*default prefix=/home/dmp/cvs/usr
*default release=cvs tag=RELENG_4_4_0_RELEASE
*default delete use-rel-suffix
*default compress
src-etc
src-crypto

But, for some reason it didn't work and i got a message saying
"nonexistent base dir "/home/dmp/cvs" for collection "src-etc"

Also, i was wondering, what happens when i use this supfile in the following
command 'cvsup -g -L2 etc-supfile'. So, when i execute this command it will
get the /etc/ files from the 4.4 release version of the source tree and
where will it put them?

So, i have to do a comparison by hand for all the files in the /etc/ dir. Is
there any quick and effecient way to do this? Also, what do i do about the
directories that are in the /etc/ folder? Do i have to update all the stuff
in thoes too?

Thanks again for your help

regards

Desmond
