I'm in the process now.  During the 'make install' phase of gnome--
(aka gnomemm) I see this error message:

Reading headers/less.h
Reading headers/main.h
ERROR: variable:
  static char *app_id_,*app_version_ ;
Reading headers/mdi-child.h

but the install goes on to finish anyway.  Any thoughts on
what this means?
