I don't now if it is really needed to extract libpq. My point is more like =
the
statement from Mathieu. We need pg_upgrade working, which requires existenc=
e of
old and new binaries of PG.
Of course we could try to allow installation of multiple postgresql-instanc=
es.
This would be handy sometimes - and in such a case. Is there an argument
against this way?
