--Q68bSM7Ycu6FN28Q Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable BIG problem with uw-imap here. FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE latest ports. CVSup yesterday. admin:~$ telnet ns2 143 Trying 62.8.64.4... Connected to ns2.wananchi.com. Escape character is '^]'. * BYE Service not available ns2.wananchi.com IMAP4rev1 2001.307 at Wed, 5 Sep 20 01 08:52:43 +0300 (EAT) Connection closed by foreign host. I get the same error when I try to run the service manually by doing =20 /usr/local/libexec/imapd Now I've checked /etc/services, inetd.conf and hosts.allow and everything is okay. When I install on another machine it runs fine under tcp-wrappers. I am now stumped. Was I hacked or something? What are the possible reasons for the failure of IMAP service?
