I think mutt might do this itself, > though I'm not sure, New versions of mutt work fine with IMAP. I haven't tried POP, but it's supposed to handle that too. But you do need sendmail (or equivalent) for outgoing mail -- mutt won't connect directly to your ISP's SMTP server. Rahul.
