I have two servers that refuse to boot unless configured with a
dangerously dedicated boot disk.  At boot time, the only message
printed is "Missing Operating System" or some approximation of that
phrase.

Both of these boxes used to run BSD/OS and I did a clean install from
CD for FreeBSD 4.1 on them.

I *really* hope it continues to be supported as I can't bring them
down long enough for a dump/restore/repartition if DD mode goes away
in a future release of FreeBSD.
