The last output of make buildkernel is:

ctfconvert -L VERSION -g vers.o
linking kernel.full
ctfmerge -L VERSION -g -o kernel.full ...

I see in top(1) that ctfmerge is huge, 250MB rss. Then the terminal freeze.=

(ssh, screen, top, munin-node etc.)
