I have several gigabit lan cards on a gig switch, these cards have a = Broadcom chipset and are sold by Netgear as GA302T (if I recall correctly). The = card works perfectly under Windows. After sending a small ammount of data through them they simply stop = responding to the network. A couple of seconds later they report to the console = "bge0: watchdog timeout -- resetting", only way to get it to talk again is to = reboot. These cards worked under 4.7 a while back, but I'd imagin it's more to do= with interrupt and other things then that. The motherboard is a Tyan Tiger = MPX.=20 The motherboard nor network cards arn't exactly great by themselves, so = I'm suprised I've not had more issues. For example, I can't use the last PCI = slot on the board under 5.2 as it just seems to fail completely. If anyone could help me track this problem down and to solve it, I'd = greatly apreciate it. Attached are a dmesg after "boot -v" and pciconf. Kind regards and thanks in advance, Peter.
