I think the awnser to that questions depend on what do you want to do with your computer (Or, a la Microsoft style, where do you want to go today?) :-) If you want to navigate trough Internet, you can do it perfectly using Netscape Communicator 4.5. If you want to do some work, you have complete Office-ilke suites, with word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail. If you want to do some programming, you have lots of compilers for almost any existing language, debbugers and tools, and the full source code of the ENTIRE operating system, so you can get examples of very well made code. All of this, plus the benefit of a more stable system. That means, It won't crash like Windows 95 while you ar using it.
