https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D218638 Bug ID: 218638 Summary: net-im/folks: Pull in textproc/gnugrep for a proper egrep with GNU extensions Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: bsdports@kyle-evans.net CC: gnome@FreeBSD.org, johans@FreeBSD.org CC: gnome@FreeBSD.org, johans@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 181763 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D181763&action= =3Dedit svn(1) diff of net-im/folks Hi, This port requires egrep to have working GNU extensions; in this case, it requires being able to match an empty branch. For the time being, use the m= ore up to date version of GNU grep, textproc/gnugrep, rather than relying on GNU extensions in base grep. This was identified in a recent exp-run to test installing BSD grep as /usr/bin/grep and disable GNU grep compatibility in = the process. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
