If you did the original installation then you should be able to run /stand/sysinstall with-out much more input. What you want to do is from the menu first select Partion and then Label. This should make the disks available to FreeBSD as well as adding the approproate entries into /etc/fstab. If you need more detailed instructions drop me a line.
