https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D219932 Bug ID: 219932 Summary: cad/tochnog: drop support for superlu_mt Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: pfg@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 183414 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D183414&action= =3Dedit remove superlu_mt option from cad/tochnog tochnog hasn't maintained the superlu_mt interface (or much else) in a long time. tochnog currently has an optional dependency on superlu_mt 2.0. Unfortunate= ly even SuperLU MT 2.4 has changed the interface and the new interface is not trivial to update. Furthermore some tochnog files are in a weird format wit= hout control returns for which I can't generate clean diffs. I tried to build SuperLU MT 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3: all had problems or wanted to build with OpenMP and ultimately I think it is just not worth it. Let's just drop the option as it won't work when we bring in the modern superlu_mt 3.1 version. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
