There is no monitor on the box and I'm doing everything by ssh (PuTTY) so going into single user mode is something I do not wish to really do. Is there another way? I'm setting the box up as a development server to learn how to do all things I normally do on a windows server (ie, php and mysql with cvs instead of asp and ms-sql with source safe)

Thanx heaps for the speedy response too!
