em0: <Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Connection, Version - 1.2.7> and

both drivers work fine when setting ifconfig_em0="xx.xxx.xx.xx"
but get stuck if using DHCP, sniffing shows the host sending arp requests
and i can see the responces, but they are either not received or ignored.

something similar happens if using PXE/diskless, the kernel get loaded ok,
but when it tries to remount / via NFS it gets stuck.

any insight?
