I'm running 4.4 stable and was wondering about how to define the Ethernet adapter in the kernel? dmesg output ed1 at port 0x300-0x31f irq 10 slot 0 on pccard0 ed1: address 00:e0:98:00:5e:11, type Linksys (16 bit) what I was guessing was: device ed0 at isa? port 0x300-03x1f slot0 on pccard0 but I'm not sure this is the right bus I don't mind if it gets nailed to that slot, it won't be moving. here's what lint has device ed0 at isa? port 0x280 irq 5 iomem 0xd8000 this is a 10/100 card so i'm assuming the miibus is required? i also have... device card device pcic0 at isa? in there. dmesg below thanks in advance for the help. and yes this laptop is very old =P trying to put it to use.
