I have this board and got things to work by changing the jumper for the
64-bit PCI bus speed to 33Mhz instead of 66Mhz.  It has survived two 'make
-j 32 buildworld' runs.  One without softupdates, the other with
softupdates.  At 66Mhz the machine doesn't survive a CVSup.

We did install on another motherboard with built-in Adaptec 2940UW.  I was
on vacation while they did the install so I don't know if changing the bus
speed would have allowed them to install on the Supermicro board.
