Is there breakage of some sort being caused by your make.conf or (less probable) your src.conf? Any filesystem corruption (boot single user and force fsck on all the filesystems)? In all the years I've used FreeBSD, I've never had to copy include files from parts of /usr/src to get buildworld to work, so this is very odd behaviour. -- | Jeremy Chadwick jdc at parodius.com | | Parodius Networking http://www.parodius.com/ | | UNIX Systems Administrator Mountain View, CA, USA | | Making life hard for others since 1977.
