Real-Audio's quality is *really* bad, and the Windows Media Player appears to be on it's way our (recent press articles imply this...) In any case, my guess is for streaming audio that Shoutcast rules (WinAmp) the numbers game. WinAmp is free, and is a quite good audio player and supports streaming audio in a number of formats, as well as a number of other audio format. Also, the WinAmp/Shoutcast folks *really* like FreeBSD, although I don't think their servers are free....
