I'm doing the pccard support with the VAIO. The apm power management stuff just works. What problems are you seeing? I did have to put a kludge into apm.c to make it really suspend. DFR just fixed the root of the problem which means I can suspend again. The pccard support stuff is in a state of disorganization right now. I'd try using IRQ 10 for the pcic, since that is one that I've found works in my testing.
