If not, it's probabl= y a good idea to a least put a notice in UPDATING. I am upgrading a FreeBSD CUR= RENT system that hasn't been updated in at least a couple of months. Apparently devel/isl was upgraded from 0.22 to 0.23. Then another package needed gcc10= 's gfortran to compile, but it failed. After checking the config.log file, I s= aw that gfortran was failing because it was looking for the old isl 0.22 .so f= ile which no longer existed because it had been replaced by 0.23. I'm using portmaster, but there should be some way for the build system to know that = gcc needs to be rebuilt against the new version of a dependency -- especially before gcc is called to be used to compile something else. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
