The Linux JDK 1.4.x is quite unstable on FreeBSD. Are you using JDK 1.4.0 or 1.4.0.01 ? Ernst -- Ernst de Haan EuroNet Internet B.V. "Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest" -- Jesus Christ ---- Thats odd i am running Linux j2sdk 1.4 and Linux Tomcat 4.0.3LE binary with a source built warp connector and there has not be any real issues besides that fact that its totally unusable on a SMP box. root@mortus:/usr/local/src/j2sdk1.4.0/bin$ ./java -version java version "1.4.0" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.0-b92) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.0-b92, mixed mode) I have been using it for about 2 months now on a production server. Its nice and fast alot easier to use then the previous tomcats.
