Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-isp@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi All, Anyone seen any problems with pppd (kernel ppp) under 2.2.7? - We have it set to kick people off if they're idle for 10 minutes (600 seconds), but it never seems to kick them off... We added the option: idle 600 To our regular ppp config file (/etc/ppp/options) - but it doesn't seem to work... I noticed in the man pages it made reference to filters etc. - but from what I understood the filters could only be used (with respect to idle time) to either reset (or not reset) the idle countdown timer depending on the type of traffic going accross the link?... And that when used in the default mode (i.e. no filters) the idle timer would be reset for _any_ packet crossing the link regardless?
