I am new to UNIX and may have overlooked something > in the installation There is a /packages/All/pdksh-5.2.3.* on the cd, but: on the ftp://ftp.cs.mun.ca/pub/pdksh, there is a newer version (pdksh5.2.4, plus two additional patches, and it has many new features.) And there is a real ksh (from AT&T, but only binary), on: http://www.research.att.com/orgs/ssr/book/reuse There is a version for BSDI, and for Linux, and for some other machines.. It is very interesting : for me, the BSDI version dumps, but the Linux version (with Linux emulation works- maybe it has to be newer libs, than in the port collection) Bye, Gabor -- Gabor Zahemszky <zgabor@CoDe.hu> -:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:- Earth is the cradle of human sense, but you can't stay in the cradle forever.
