I find that I can't build some packages (most notably WINE) as non-root because of process memory usage limitations (virutal memory exhausted and/or ld: Cannot allocate memory errors). Either su to root or play around with the process limitations (/etc/login.conf?). - --- Donald Burr <dburr@POBoxes.com> - Ask me for my PGP key | PGP: Your WWW HomePage: http://DonaldBurr.base.org/ ICQ #1347455 | right to Address: P.O.
