You do have to partition the drive to allow FreeBSD to live in its own space, though. Read *all* of the documentation available at freebsd.org. And, ask questions too. If you are like me, you will eventually purge all of your disk of Mr. Bill stuff. (I admit to having one of my machines with "a separate little space" for NT so I can run Turbo Tax - 'till April 15 - and some cooking CDROMs. Its a very small space, very small...) Good Luck!
