Since then, I've installed Linux (RedHat) 5.2, and it worked flawlessly. However, I've now installed FreeBSD-2.2.8 (updated today), and it again dumps core. I'm not a system hacker, so I need to know what I can do with the *.core file to gain any info that might be useful in figuring out WHY this keeps happening. Thanks.
