You have researched it, that's better. You have make a hypothesis, that's excellent. you HAVEN'T tested this hypothesis - that's BAD! Pull some of the RAM out of the server and retest. Make SURE that the problem is gone. Put the RAM back in and make SURE that the problem comes back. Then once you have verified that it's indeed an overabundance of ram, please tell us! Sorry, but nobody likes being sent on wild goose chases, and the problem your reporting could possibly be caused by something else. Be kind to us - there's not many on this list that have such hardware. Also, one last thing, I see by your phone number that your in Portland.
