Hi,
I came across an error while installing staroffice-5.2 durring the
linux_base install portion.
glib-1.2.5-1.i386.rpm
package glib-1.2.6-2.i386.rpm (which is newer) is already installed
error: /ports/distfiles/rpm/glib-1.2.5-1.i386.rpm cannot be
installed
*** Error Code 1
stop in /usr/ports/emulators/linux_base
The work around that I used was:
1) did a lot of grunting
2)
rm glib-1.2.5-1.i36.rpm
cp glib-1.2.6-2.i36.rpm glib-1.2.5-1.i36.rpm
Then the installer was "fooled" into installing the later version, and
the rest of install went smoothly.
