I just recompiled today's -current kernel (CVSupped about 10 hours ago) and find out that my 3C590 PCI Ethernet no longer works. No packets can be sent from/to the system. The kernel from 12/12/96 worked just fine. This is how my card is being identified by kernel: vx0 <3COM 3C590 Etherlink III PCI> rev 0 int a irq 9 on pci0:11 utp[*utp*] address 00:20:af:f7:f2:dd Warning! Defective early revision adapter! (it was always identified as "defective", but worked just fine until now). Best regards. -------- Gennady B. Sorokopud - System programmer at NetVision Israel.
