If it helps, the following is what got my card to work: In my kernel configuration file: device zp0 at isa? port 0x300 net irq10 iomem 0xd8000 In my rc.conf: ifconfig_zp0="inet (my address) netmask (my netmask)" network_interfaces="lo0 zp0" Mike > ---------- > From: gill > Sent: Thursday, November 4, 1999 11:01 AM > To: Dewey, Michael; freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG; 'Huidae Cho' > Subject: Re: PCMCIA Lan Card? > > does that work with the install boot floppies? > > --gill > > > I have a 3COM589C PCMCIA Lan Card and the zp driver works well with it. > > > > Mike > > > > > ---------- > > > From: Huidae Cho > > > Sent: Wednesday, November 3, 1999 9:29 PM > > > To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG > > > Subject: PCMCIA Lan Card? > > > > > > does fbsd support 3COM589 PCMCIA Lan Card? > > > zp driver is for 3Com Etherlink III. > > > the same card? > > > > > > help me.. ~~ > > > > > > > > > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > > > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message > > > > > > > > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message > > > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
