Just to see if I understand, do you mean to connect to ``something =

else'' besides [NIC]:orphan ? - so that another node can be put in =

the chain ?

The netgraph code on the cvs NETGRAPH branch should be able to do =

this although I haven't tested it for some time.  The idea is that =

you can configure a chain of nodes, sending them ascii messages if =

required.  The nodes are arbitrary...
